Everyone lives on three separate yet
interconnected worlds no matter the planet or
dimension they call home. The worlds are the past,
present and future but it's easier to think of
them as an apartment building. The past would be
on the ground floor and the future on the top,
everyone resides on the middle floor with nearly
constant trips to the other floors. There is an
elevator that connects the three but teleportation
is easier and faster. The entire apartment
building is called reality with each of the floors
existing in their own state of being. The
appearance of the building from the outside
depends on what's taking place inside. In some
cases it might look like a tenement building with
empty lots on either side or a beautiful triplex
bordered by parks. There also might be friends and
relatives nearby in their own realities making up
the neighborhood. That has a lot to do with how
safe it is to walk the streets at night as opposed
to a neighborhood that holds block parties. Let's
see how this analogy could have any benefits going
forward.
Starting on the ground floor with the past, one
finds a state of being that includes moments of
"should have happened", "it was that close",
"nailed it", "can't wait to do it again", and
"what if?" Once anything in the present becomes
the past, that moment and all of its attributes
are frozen in time. The past is the foundation for
the two floors above. Everything going forward is
because of all that has already taken place.
Experience has taught the needed lessons to make
informed decisions based on previous failures and
successes. Both have been equally important every
time the same lesson gets repeated. As successes
overtake failures, confidence is built in the
foundation of reality becomes more solid. There
are less questions and more answers as to
improvements on the building until it finally sits
proudly in a state of historic preservation. The
past is where anything new comes through the doors
on the way upstairs only after getting through the
filter of memories until it comes to the present.
The middle floor is the residence of consciousness
with each of the senses taking on the roles of
landlords reviewing everything that has made its
way through the past. It shares something with the
future in that it's state of being that is always
fluid. In other words, the furniture is in a
constant state of movement making it hard to
settle unless everything is in the right place. So
one goes to the future to look at ways to shape
both floors to match each other. The present and
the future though make it hard to keep the same
theme going between floors. It's all about a
vision of how it should be and carrying that
vision through an elevator door where it just
doesn't fit. One has to restructure it into a form
that will be of a more realistic size if it
extends beyond your reach. It's in the present
where one can turn on some favorite tunes and
relax. If one needs a happy place, this is a good
place to start. Become at home in the present and
design it to your style in your head. Where that
style is going to come into fruition takes place
is in the future.
The top floor of reality is where everything
happens. Here, the foundations of the past have
been reinforced by the actions of the present as
the entire structure reaches completion. The
future is in a state of being that is more like
the work floor of an industrial assembly plant.
Stations busily completing half finished ideas
while entire departments cherry pick the best
ideas to make something be added to the present.
It's a busy place constantly in flux yet with the
power of creation able to mold nothing into that
something. Used correctly, the building becomes a
showplace and where great things can happen. It
tends to turn out that once that happens, the
whole neighborhood becomes gentrified with more
and more like-minded individuals moving in because
of the vibe they felt that's been growing. That
neighborhood becomes a city gathering others
around who feel drawn a place where they feel
comfortable. At that point the three worlds are
aligned and now it's a matter of moving on up to
an entirely new higher dimension neighborhood.
