Defcon Upgrade Explained By Omal Omal; Greetings and felicitations. I would like to go over the necessary factors involved with going to Defcon two as the request for upgrading to that state was raised recently and to remind why we would feel the need to do so. Defcon two would be announced if various factors were to happen simultaneously. Those being a two hundred and fifty point drop in the stock market, three natural disasters and three civil disobedience’s on the continental USA.. OK, I’m going to throw out my usual format of giving a dissertation and leave the floor open to discussions of questions and answers.
Russ; We’ve had some interesting changes in the media concerning things which are said by the media and then having to be taken back.
Omal; You would be referring to the Tailwind incident?
R; Correct.
Omal; Concerning this comment of using certain gasses to neutralise defectors, the dangers in using these gasses would make them detrimental to use them in such an operation. If you think about the instability of these gasses, then not only would the target be destroyed but possibly a large area around. Or if something went wrong in the delivery, innocent individuals would have been harmed. So these statements by individuals of dubious sources by their own admission or their own wording if you know anything about these gasses would have created a serious problem if something had gone wrong. My assumption would have been that this never happened and that this never happened. I see this as a symptom of your reporting press that they report not only what they want you to know but what they think you should know which may not be the actual fact. This is a prime example of those kind of erroneous comments.
R; Now I have a different theory on why this story took place.
Omal; OK.
R; It’s my opinion that the reporters in question were being used and the heavy competition between newsmen to report a story first to get a story out that would hurt the government of the United States.
Omal; Why would it hurt your current government? Would it not be hurting the government that was involved in those operations at the time? I believe it was Nixon in "72"?
R; Well it would have been Nixon or Johnson.
Omal; Either way, what purpose would be served? Those individuals are both on a different consciousness and the people that worked for them are either no longer working in that political field or are also on a different level of consciousness.
R; Well isn’t it a level of perception? Wouldn’t the current military who is already seen as having many problems in it’s higher levels hurt by allegations such as these?
Omal; Not necessarily, due the fact that it happened almost 30 years ago. What harm would that due to the current set up?
R; Distrust of the government?
Omal; That already exists. So if it being aimed at individuals, it is being aimed at those that are no longer serving.
R;  Well it is worrying that the media is so free to report things so irresponsibly like this.
Omal; Yes. It is a worrying situation.
R; It’s things like this, for example with the Rodney King trial that can cause the civil disobedience you ut, you mentioned earlier.
Omal; But remember, to advance to a higher Defcon level, it would have to be coupled with several other factors would it not?
R; True, I’m just worried that an event like this could trigger several factors at once.
Omal; Correct, but it did not and it was soon disproved but, you do not hear as much as an uproar over the retraction?
R; That’s true. I’d have highly upset if I had been lied to like this.
Omal; Why are you not highly upset?
R; Because I did not believe it in the first place.
Omal; But still, there are a lot of people that did. Why are they not clamouring for the heads of the individuals that reported this erroneous information?
R; Is it that we are so used to this happening that we no longer get upset?
Omal; Exactly. Which is a real sad state to be in.
R; In a current movie which just came out called Armageddon, is based on the assumption that a huge comet could hit Earth and the possible outcome of that. What exactly are the chances of such an occurrence happening?
Omal; A thousand to one.
R; So what preparations should be made were this to happen?
Omal; Depending on where the comet or meteor is projected to hit, if it is projected to hit within a thousand mile radius, depending on the size……let us say that it is two miles wide and a thousand miles within your residence, to quote an individual, "kiss your butts goodbye." If you survive the impact, you will perish in the fires. If you survive the fires, I estimate six months of winter regardless of the time of year, nine if it hits in the winter of your area. Preparation for it; if you wish to survive, the ideal thing would be to build an bomb shelter and wait for the fires to pass over. Bury food and supplies deeply. Afterwards you would have three months of no light. Plus I would suggest be prepared to hike down to low lands but be heavily armed as that anybody who comes your way will be looking for food. It is a bleak picture but I would not worry about it.
